Unfortunate

by Mark Neil Davis

A broken soul, lost and disastrous
But on the outside it seems intact
With a bright smile and kind gestures
Full of love but submerged is hidden sadness
Cherished by many and hated by one
Itself
He is surrounded by love
And lonely with misery
As he looks and strives for his goals and fail
He saddens more and more
Cracking like the Earth’s crust after a quake
He is naturally doomed
And his only mentality after all this chaos is the word HOPE
