CO2 pulsating against
My alveoli
Fighting against death
Each breath a thought process
Inhibiting my mind, soul and heart
Apart dissecting your appearance and
Together making you a part of me
We in mind are together
but reality kills me every time
I can’t breathe because you are not with me
You take each breath of mine faster than death
I’m at rest
R.I.P to my chest
The home of my heart
Inside it’s cold and dark
because
We’re apart
My diaphragm pushes my stomach
Which is lacking the butterflies you feed me
Everytime you’re near me
My pharynx lacks the speechless words stuck in my throat
Whenever you’re close
I can’t breathe because you’re not with me to cope.
